An anonymous participant in one of my early workshops sent me the statement,"An open mind affords the opportunity of dropping a worthwhile thought into it." It should be pretty obvious that people with closed minds are not receptive to a worthwhile thought being dropped in. If their minds are already made up in advance, there will be no opportunity to help them think about change and innovation. Take a minute today to think about how open-minded you are. Are you willing to consider new ideas, or is your mind already made up? You may be missing some great opportunities.
